Acer announces "Select Partner Programme"
Acer has increased its footprint in the commercial PC market through its unique novel channel strategy. The program is focussed on strengthening and increasing the existing partner base to loyal channel partners in the commercial segment.
As part of this strategy, Acer announced the "Acer Select Program" for its "Select" channel partner which enabled them to fully address the requirements of the commercial segment. In the past one year, Acer has tripled its loyal partners, as the company moved from direct to an indirect model to approach Commercial, Government, Education and SMB businesses. Acer, through its various schemes, infused its commercial channel network with high levels of energy and motivation, critical for driving sales and powering the success of the brand. Within a year after the rollout of the program, Acer built an active partner base and witnessed a steady quarter on quarter growth, focussing on new accounts.

Ever since the launch of the Acer Select Partner Program, the revenues have grown by 20% quarter on quarter proving the loyal partner program to be extremely successful over 2010. The company rolled out this novel channel partner program with an objective to strengthen the existing commercial partner network and enhance its footprint across India.
