Spotify hits 1 million user base in India in Just one Week: Swedish music streaming platform Spotify, which made its presence in India just last week, has gained over one million users, the company sources said. With Spotify is offering more than four crore songs and 300 crore playlists for its subscribers in the country with all-new features, including for regional music.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
