Movie Ticketing Apps Not Allowed to Charge 'Internet Handling Fee' from Customers, Says RBI : Violating MDR norms: On the weekend many of us are buying online tickets for the latest Bollywood as well as Hollywood release, and end up paying slightly more when booking movie tickets through apps than you would if you booked the tickets at the theatre box office. However, a latest Right to Information (RTI) query has shown that these charges could very well be unauthorized.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
