Filigree Consulting conducted a study asking business users about technology adoption in their workspaces and the value that these solutions provided. The research concluded that 71 per cent of businesses are not effective at using collaboration to drive business value throughout their organizations.  The research results have been published in a white paper entitled “Visual Collaboration Solutions Best Practices: Global Report and Recommendations”. VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   The research conducted by Kaspersky Lab experts on the discovery of the Flame malware in May 2012 has revealed that the most complex cyberweapon to date. At the time of its discovery, there was no strong evidence of Flame being developed by the same team that delivered Stuxnet and Duqu. The earliest known version of Stuxnet, contains a special module known as “Resource 207”. In the subsequent 2010 version of Stuxnet, this module was completely removed. The "Resource 207" module is an encrypted DLL file and it contains an executable file that's the size of 351,768 bytes with the name "atmpsvcn.ocx". This particular file, as it is now revealed by Kaspersky Lab's investigation, has a lot in common with the code used in Flame. Using the Forbes Global 2000 list, the 2012 survey represents the first analysis of cyber governance postures of major corporations around the world. Analysts expect an increase in native 64-bit malware, especially rootkits, in 2012. The Win32/Rovnix.B, as other rootkit droppers, is distributed by an affiliation program (Pay Per Install). Affiliates receive between $8 to $160 for every 1,000 installations of such rootkits, the price particularly in India is the lowest in the market. Previously, Win32/Rovnix was mainly distributed from two domains - malwox.com and netox.biz with affiliation programs. Supported by the European Commission, the Fostering Cooperation in Computing Systems for EU and India (EU-INCOOP) project is investing over 460,000 EURO (US$630,000) to bring together leading researchers from India and Europe to identify priorities and develop a joint research roadmap that is said to increase cooperation and address future technology needs in each region.
