Ricoh to unfold channel network, thrives sales team

Ricoh India has tie-ups with 300 channel partners and 800 employees in the country at present. According to, Tetsuya Takano, MD & CEO, Ricoh India, The Company is to enumerate 200 more channel partners to upgrade its reach among various industry verticals in the country. Ricoh India is said to empower 100 people approx to thrive its sales team in the country.

AT Rajan, Associate VP (Marketing), Ricoh said, "We plan to hire 100 sales consultants in this financial year. This will be mid-level hiring and we are looking for people with more than three years experience in this domain."

The company has rolled out new models of Laser printers, including A4 multi-function printers (MFP) viz SP 1210N- a single function network Laser Printer priced at Rs. 9,900; SP 1200SF- is a A4 MFP that prints, scans, copies and faxes A4 size documents and is priced at Rs. 17,000 and SP 1200S- functions as a printer, scanner and copier with a standard automatic document feeder (ADF), and is priced at Rs. 11,000.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
