Agilent Technologies announces VGA Display Handheld Oscilloscope

Agilent Technologies has announced the addition of the U1610A andU1620A oscilloscopes to its portfolio of handheld instruments. For enhanced safety, both models include two isolated input channels, certified to CAT III600 V, that protect users and prevent damages to devices when performing floating measurements.

The U1610A has a 100 MHz bandwidth and 1 GSa/s sampling rate while the U1620A provides 200 MHz bandwidth and 2 GSa/s sampling rate. With a maximum memory depth of 2 Mpts, users can capture non-repeating signals. This also allows users to capture pulse width modulated waveforms commonly found in Variable Frequency Drive and power inverter systems over a wider time base.

Ee Huei Sin, VP & GM, Basic Instruments Division, Agilent said, "From full sunlight to darkest night, our handheld oscilloscopes offer the ultimate viewing experience and provide tremendous convenience in a variety of industrial and electronics applications. The U1610A and U1620A are part of our ongoing efforts to deliver dependable tools that provide essential and innovative capabilities while remaining easy to use."
