Samsung strengthens Its Netbook Portfolio with 3G-Enabled NC110

Samsung Electronics has launched Samsung NC110, 3G-enabled netbook in India. With a choice of colours and advanced usability features, the netbook NC110 offers an affordable and stylish way to stay in touch. NC110 is Samsung's first 3G-enabled netbook, available at Croma retail stores at Rs.21,500/-.

The netbook NC110 is designed to simplify everyday tasks with genuine Windows 7 Starter. Weighing just 1.18kg (based on the 6600 mAh battery), this notebook features 10.1" anti-reflective LED screen, 802.11bgn wireless, Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed and 3G modem (HSPA) and a WiFi manager which makes it easy to get connected by automatically finding and connecting to any available WiFi network.

"Samsung's Netbook NC110 is a great option for every-day users who want more vivid mobile PC experience and key features at an affordable price. As people's needs evolve rapidly, we are launching a variety of options that are tailored to suit different preferences and lifestyles, so that our customers can always have the perfect solution for their needs," said Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Samsung Mobile and IT.

Samsung's Fast Start feature can wake up the netbook from sleep mode within seconds of opening the display or pressing the power button. In this advanced sleep mode, data is also saved on HDD as well as memory, so the content is ready, just as the user left it, even if power is suddenly lost or the battery is changed. And for maximum flexibility on the move, one can use a Sleep-and-Charge USB port to charge portable devices, such as smartphones or MP3 players, even when the netbook is sleeping or turned off.
