Karbonn launches 5.5 
Karbonn has launched its flagship smartphone, the 13.9 cm (5.5”) Titanium S9 HD IPS smartphone. It comes with HD IPS Capacitive Screen and 16 Million Colors.
The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Titanium S9 incorporates a 720p HD IPS capacitive display which is engineered for a big-screen viewing pleasure. The smartphone includes a 13MP auto-focus with flash rear camera and a 5MP front-camera for video chats.
It also enables the user to click radiant pictures on its smart camera application, view it on the brilliant HD IPS screen display and then save them on the available 16GB internal memory and the up to 32GB expandable memory.
The flagship device is powered by a Mediatek chipset along with a 1GB RAM. It also comes with a huge 2600mAh-enabled battery. It is 3G-enabled and has in itself Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Sensor Support (G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Ambient Light Sensor) and has Dual-SIM connectivity........See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
