Brain resigns from American manufacturing Council

Brian Krzanich, CEO-Intel has resigned from the American Manufacturing Council, the group set up by President Donald Trump to advise his government on issues related to manufacturing in the country, over current political climate in the US and alleged politics-driven hate crimes. 

His resignation came days after Trump’s response to the violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia on 12 August. 

Krzanich’s statement on his resignation from the American Manufacturing Council

I resigned to call attention to the serious harm our divided political climate is causing to critical issues, including the serious need to address the decline of American manufacturing.
