Indian Defence Chief boarded Helicopter crashes:  A helicopter carrying   India's Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat   crashed near the town of Coonoor in southern India on Wednesday, the Indian Air Force said.   Rawat was appointed as India's first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) by  Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's government in late 2019. The position was set-up with the aim of integrating India's three services - the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.   A military helicopter carrying Indian defence chief General Bipin Rawat crashed near the town of Coonoor in southern India on Wednesday, the  Indian Air Force  said.   However, the status of Gen. Rawat and his wife who was also onboard, was not known. Bengaluru's e-procurement site hacked and funds stolen:  One of six hard disks recovered from laptops belonging to hacker   Srikrishna Ramesh alias Sriki . who is at the centre of an alleged Bitcoin-for-bribes controversy that has hit Karnataka politics in recent weeks, has revealed data of a hack carried out at the   e-procurement cell of the state government   where Rs 11.5 crore was stolen by a hacker gang in 2019.   According to the cyber forensics report, one hard disk “marked 01” recovered from a Macbook belonging to Srikrishna contains “hacking data” for the alleged hacking of the  eproc.karnataka.gov  site of the e-governance cell of the Karnataka government and other sites.   Srikrishna has claimed that he and his associates were trying to steal Rs 46 crore from the e-procurement cell – in three tranches - but managed to get only Rs 11.5 crore before officials got wind of the crime. SSRF vulnerability found in Google Cloud:  Server-side request forgery (also known as SSRF)   is a web security vulnerability that allows an attacker to induce the server-side application to make HTTP requests to an arbitrary domain of the attacker's choosing.   It is a type of attack by the name SSRF, the attacker might cause the server to make a connection to internal-only services within the organization's infrastructure. In other cases, they may be able to force the server to connect to arbitrary external systems, potentially leaking sensitive data such as authorization credentials.   A URL parsing bug left an internal  Google Cloud  project open to server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks,  security researcher David Schütz  has found.
