Piyush Somani elected as the President of CCICI:  The   Cloud Computing Innovation Council of India   known as CCICI has announced the appointment of the professional society’s new President -  Piyush Somani, ESDS Software Solution Limited . Mr. Somani is the Managing Director and Chairman of India’s leading managed cloud service and end-to-end multi-cloud requirements provider (Source: Ken Research Report).   Cloud Computing Innovation Council of India (CCICI) is an Independent, Not-for-Profit, Vendor-Neutral body of professionals from industry, academia and government. General Bipin Rawat and wife Madhulika to be cremated in Delhi:  Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS)   was on a visit to   Defence Services Staff College, Wellington (Nilgiri Hills)   to address the faculty and student officers of the Staff Course .   Around noon today, an IAF Mi 17 V5 helicopter with a crew of 4 members carrying the CDS and 9 other passengers met with a tragic accident near Coonoor, TN yesterday. Indian Defence Chief boarded Helicopter crashes:  A helicopter carrying   India's Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat   crashed near the town of Coonoor in southern India on Wednesday, the Indian Air Force said.   Rawat was appointed as India's first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) by  Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's government in late 2019. The position was set-up with the aim of integrating India's three services - the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.   A military helicopter carrying Indian defence chief General Bipin Rawat crashed near the town of Coonoor in southern India on Wednesday, the  Indian Air Force  said.   However, the status of Gen. Rawat and his wife who was also onboard, was not known.
