Toshiba launches Canvio 3.0 Portable Hard Drive

Toshiba has announced the availability of Canvio 3.0 Portable Hard Drive product line in India through its distributor, Rashi Peripherals. Toshiba Canvio 3.0 products have been designed and manufactured in accordance with Toshiba's high-quality product standards, incorporating the latest technology and user-interface, while ensuring best-in-class performance, quality and workmanship.

Each Canvio 3.0 Portable Hard Drive includes an internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology to help keep the drive safe. The Computer backup is made fast and simple with the pre-loaded software. The Canvio 3.0 HDD includes NTI Backup Now EZ software which scans the system and recommends the best coverage for computer.

The restore button can help recover a file or folder and also if users chose to boot to Canvio 3.0 Portable Hard Drive, it will restore all the files saved on the computer. The Canvio 3.0 HDD comes with a utility which helps to burn a boot CD/DVD to make the process even simpler.

The backup files can be secured with password-protected data encryption, (up to 256-bit), to help prevent unauthorized access. The Drive Space Alert monitor will keep an eye on the drive and let you know when it is getting full. Toshiba Canvio 3.0 Portable Drives are compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
