NASSCOM inaugurates its Kerala Regional Chapter
The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has announced that it is opening its regional chapter in Kerala and has also appointed Sujit Unni to take care of the state regional chapter. To mark the occasion of the opening of the regional chapter, NASSCOM is also holding a day-long Executive Council meeting at the IBS campus in Technopark, for the first time.
Rajendra Pawar, Chairman, NASSCOM said, "Strong local economic growth and rapid advancement in technology infrastructure has helped Kerala transform its image, and emerge as the leading IT-BPO destination in India. Industry, Academia and NASSCOM will come together and collaborate to take decisive steps to develop high calibre talent pool, foster a sustainable ecosystem for research and innovation, and actively work to establish Kerala as a trusted hub for professional services, and ensure adequate policy support to keep the momentum strong."
