4G LTE reaches Bangalore 
Bharti Airtel has launched its 4G LTE service in Bangalore. Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda, inaugurated the 4G network launch in Bangalore. Airtel also introduced various tariff plans for 4G LTE subscribers in Kolkata and Bangalore as followed. Meanwhile, Airtel has also offered add on plans which customers can use when all their free usage gets over.
Sanjay Kapoor, CEO - India South Asia, Bharti Airtel said: "As seen the world over, the total data usage is exploding and is doubling each year to grow to nearly 3.6 hexabytes by 2014."
With the 4G LTE service, the subscriber can download data around 100 megabytes speed per second and sometimes up to 1 Gigabytes speed per second, at a destined location, according to Airtel.
"This plan is called 'Smartbytes' for 4G allowing customers to buy these add on packs and continue enjoying the 4G experience even after exhausting their monthly data limits," said Airtel.
