Applications for Quantum MOS released 
Genpact has released virtual correspondent and private-label origination applications for its Quantum Mortgage Operating System (MOS). The applications are leveraged with Genpact’s Mortgage Business Process as a Service offering (BPaaS), which combines the technology with Genpact’s business process services, data analytics and mortgage domain expertise. 

The virtual correspondent and private label applications combine Quantum MOS’ data-centric loan automation platform with Genpact Mortgage Services’ BPaaS offering to increase effectiveness and reduce the loan cycle time by as much as 30 per cent. The applications can be set up in either a delegated or non-delegated model, enabling users to customize the workflow to best suit the needs of each lender.  

Roger Hull, Vice-President, Genpact Mortgage Services, said, “Lenders who can push enterprise software to their correspondents while also leveraging business process services in the backoffice will be able to realize lower costs and quicker closing times. Genpact’s Quantum MOS private-label and virtual correspondent applications utilize a correspondent web portal, underwriting apps and automated quality control processes to increase accuracy, ensure compliance and improve risk transparency.”

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
