Plantronics rolls out new UC Headsets 
Plantronics has introduced the new Blackwire300 corded USB headsets for UC. These headsets aim to keep the cost per user low while trying to achieve widespread adoption to enable end-users to embrace the new communication platform. 
According to Frost & Sullivan, the UC market in India amounted to $465 million in 2010 up from $411 million in 2009. The growth projection for 2010-17 is 11.8%. Majority of this includes enterprise IP telephony and applications like presence, mobility and conferencing and collaboration are around 10%. 
Bobby Joseph, Country Director, Plantronics, India, said, “Given the changing industry scenario, it was essential to create a product that satisfies the need for a low-cost, entry-level UC headset that offers a superior user experience. Plantronics has been constantly innovating and providing solutions that add comfort and convenience to the lives of our customers.”
