Kaspersky Tablet Security unveiled 
Kaspersky Lab has introduced the all new Kaspersky Tablet Security, a tailored solution for protecting Android-based tablets. Kaspersky Tablet Security was launched by Kaspersky Brand Ambassador & Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar in Mumbai in presence of Channel partners from pan-India.
Kaspersky Lab’s specialists factored in all the specific characteristics of tablets, with the result being a specialized security solution that ensures both protection against malicious and fraudulent software, and the inviolability of personal data in case of loss or theft of a device. Kaspersky Tablet Security provides the ultimate protection against all kinds of cybercriminal activity, specifically designed for Android-based tablets. Its anti-virus engine, working together with cloud-based protection technology, efficiently blocks all malicious programs, even new and previously unknown ones. Kaspersky Tablet Security also introduces the Web Protection feature, which helps block malicious or fraudulent websites when using the Android browser. 
Kaspersky Tablet Security can also remotely block a lost or stolen device or wipe all its personal data. The program can determine the location of a lost or stolen tablet, not only via GPS, but also via mobile network data (GSM) or the coordinates of the nearest Wi-Fi access point. And the Mugshot function can secretly take photos of a person using a lost or stolen tablet with its built-in camera, and then transfer the photos to the owner of the device.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
