Novell Vibe 3.3 integrates with MS Office
Novell has announced the availability of Novell Vibe 3.3, its team collaboration platform. This latest version features seamless integration with Microsoft Office 2010 and 2007. This release also features Novell Vibe Desktop, which gives users offline access and sync capabilities to files stored in Vibe.
Novell Vibe 3.3 is independent but works with any standard email system. It includes tight integrations with Novell GroupWise 2012, giving users access and interaction across Vibe and GroupWise content from one place, bridging the gap between personal and team productivity to make people more efficient throughout their work day.
"With Novell Vibe, we are focussed on making it easier for people to work together and easier for organizations to give their employees what they need to do so. This new version of Vibe is all about making a seamless flow from creating to sharing and managing content so teams can reach their business objectives faster. With the new integration with Microsoft Office and the addition of our offline Vibe Desktop, Novell has taken another great stride toward giving people a social team collaboration solution that matches the way they intuitively want to work," said Eric Varness, Vice-President, Product Management and Marketing, Novell.
