VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE

R&M has provided the cabling solutions the Narodowy National Stadium in Warsaw at where data is being transferred securely helping all the football fans enjoy the game in the stadium and around the world. The modular R&Mfreenet cabling system was chosen as the solution. The backbone of the National Stadium is based on 72-fiber single mode optic cables, category OS2. The redundant cabling is led through separate routes to minimize the risk of failure. The FO rings link four data centers in which the entire IT infrastructure is also provided as a redundant replica.
Cat. 6 Real10 cable was used below 100 meters. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet. Applications located further away such as cameras, screens, some access points and control systems are connected via FO duplex connections with SCRJ/APC connectors. These connectors are characterized not only by top performance but are also able to ensure environmental protection up to IP67 level which in terms of the stadium was crucial.
Gaurav Ahuwalia, MD, R&M said, "Yet again, we bagged the project of converting the soccer stadiums into high tech arenas. We understand the importance of secure data transfer at a high speed in order to broadcast the lovely game, real time. This project is a fantastic example to be quoted to our prospective customers, which will time and again prove the quality of R&M."
