Samsung Galaxy S III sales expected to top

JK Shin, Head of its Telecommunications Business has shared that Samsung Electronics Co. is expecting a cumulative sales of its Galaxy S III to top 10 million units during July. Samsung launched its Galaxy S III on May 29 in Europe and is now expanding global roll-outs.
The phone is said to feature a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with flash and zero shutter lag and a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The Samsung Galaxy S III runs Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, operating system. Available in two colours - Pebble Blue and Marble White, its connectivity options include connectivity options include WiFi a/b/g/n, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0(LE). The phone is engineered with a 2100 mAh battery.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
