The entries will be judged by a panel of respected international academics and representatives from the leading global enterprises.
"Along with Acer Inc, we are extremely excited to launch this contest in India. We expect this contest to be a great platform for Indian students to showcase their capabilities and creativity in the field of science. We believe this competition will unearth the hidden talent of all participants stimulating their inspiration and ingenuity, in international innovation beyond borders or barriers and shaping the green future everyone desire," said S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India.
Furthermore, in order to promote Taiwan's integration with the global green movement, Acer Foundation and Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) are jointly sponsoring the Incredible Green Contest.
"Acer's strong foothold in both government and private education segment will form an ideal platform for us to promote this contest through multiple platforms. Our robust network and association with channel community and Large Format Retail (LFR) stores will help us reach out to a larger base of students across the country. Apart from exploring on ground activations, we will also capitalize on the new-age media to reach out to the student community. This is one of the most powerful medium as most of the students are acquainted with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and others. We expect great enthusiasm from students and support from all the parents to participate in such an exciting event," S. Rajendran further commented.
