Fujifilm rolls out  
FUJIFILM has introduced new FinePix SL300. The camera features 14-mega pixel CCD sensor with sensor-shift image stabilization, a 30x optical zoom with a focal range of 24-720mm, 720p HD video at 30fps, a bright 3-inch 460k dot LCD screen, faster start-up, improved auto-focus speed and an upgraded response time. 
K. Tanaka, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, said, "FinePixSL300 is a fast responsive camera in FUJIFILM's extensive bridge camera range, with a faster start-up time and snappy auto-focus speed. With the newly incorporated lithium-ion battery, FinePix SL300 offers convenience with longevity, which is one of the important features that youngsters look for."
"FinePix SL300 has been designed with a rubberized coating to make it comfortable for extended shooting sessions. In terms of style and features, the Fujifilm FinePix SL300 is ideal for both the photographers who have experience of a DSLR and those who want to experience everything a DSLR can do for them without the added cost or weight," said Rohit Pandit, Executive Vice-President (DSC), FUJIFILM India.

IFFCO selects KPIT Cummins to implement OTM

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE IFFCO has announced that it has selected KPIT Cummins to strengthen its supply chain execution using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). As part of this strategic engagement, KPIT Cummins will build a comprehensive transportation management platform to integrate IFFCO group's supply chain processes as well as those of its external carriers. This is one of the largest OTM implementations in the Middle East and will be completed in 14 months. The scope of this multidimensional transformational project includes streamlining of all logistics and transportation - domestic and international - across IFFCO's entire supply chain from inbound raw and packing materials to finished goods distribution.
