Telit Wireless signs new distribution partner
Telit Wireless Solutions has signed up Rabyte Electronics, a new distribution partner in India.  Leveraging on Rabyte’s in-house Design support structure and Supply Chain Management (SCM) capabilities across multi-layered customer base throughout India, Telit will be able to penetrate deeper and nurture the upcoming M2M applications that support the world of M2M connectivity. Moreover, in conjunction with Telit's distribution network, Rabyte would also work with customers to develop concepts and ideas to realize target solutions based on GSM/GPRS/CDMA/UMTS/HSPA+, GNSS and Short Range products.
“We strongly believe that an extensive Support & Distribution network is the key to success. Rabyte fills the gap that Telit was lacking and with this tie-up Telit would be able to penetrate the low-tier customer base where it was difficult to make inroads before. We now have three distribution partners in India and we hope to increase them to five by 2014,” said Ashish Gulati, Country Manager, India Operations, Telit Wireless Solutions.
Rajiv Batra, Managing Director, Rabyte Electronics, said, "We are really proud to be chosen as Telit’s partner for the Indian market. This also reaffirms our position as a leading distribution partner, which is core to our business philosophy. This partnership with Telit certainly provides us with a definitive edge as Telit’s wireless products are internationally proven, reliable, certified and are available at the right price points, which helps us deliver the right kind of solutions to our customers in a highly cost-effective manner. Moreover, we also have access to the world-class support from Telit and its partners."
