Infor to triple Indian Channel Partner Count
Infor has announced plans to more than triple the number of Indian channel partners in the Infor Partner Network (IPN) by June 2013.  The objective of the recruitment campaign will be to achieve both geographic coverage and partner with niche players to provide Infor solutions to customers in the specific chosen market verticals. Infor seeks to strengthen its channel strength in India to increase reach and also effectively position its solutions in the chosen market segments throughout India and the subcontinent.
Infor plans to more than triple its number of Indian channel partners in the Infor Partner Network by June 2013 focussing the recruitment drive particularly on partners specializing in Industrial Manufacturing & Equipment, Automotive, Metal Fabrication, Textiles, Food & Beverages, Speciality Chemicals and High-Tech industries.
The IPN is a global channel partner programme that includes a network of people, systems and services designed to deliver the highest quality support for Infor channel partners.  Infor partners benefit from the programme’s highly competitive commission rates, performance bonuses, comprehensive training and certification programme, and a Market Development Funding (MDF) programme geared towards helping partners invest back into their businesses.
Infor’s Vice-President of Global Alliances and Channels Jeff Abbott has set a goal to significantly increase Infor’s channel revenue.  The IPN – and this Indian recruitment drive – are key enablers of that growth.
