Intel honours Next Gen Innovators 
Intel has honoured the winners of the Intel India Embedded Challenge 2012 for their projects for the embedded intelligent systems theme. The nationwide competition is an initiative by Intel India to recognize and reward ideas in embedded technology, based on the Intel Atom processor.
Prof. S. Sadagopan, Director, International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, and Professor H. P. Khincha, Chairman, Karnataka Innovation Council, were present at the occasion to felicitate the winners of Intel India Embedded Challenge (Intel IEC) 2012. 
“We are pleased to receive overwhelming response to the Intel Embedded Challenge from students and working professionals across India. This is one of Intel India’s platforms to provide engineering students and technical professionals an environment to cultivate their technological talents. Through this initiative, Intel India seeks to promote an ecosystem in which research and innovation can thrive,” said Jitendra Chaddah, Director - Strategic Development and Operations, Intel India.
