Airtel's brings in new Security Solution for Indian SMEs 
Bharti Airtel has unveiled Airtel Dynamic Mobile Exchange (DME) for corporates. The solution has been developed for workforce to access enterprise data from anywhere on a device of their choice, in a secured manner, thereby enhancing the business productivity of the enterprise while meeting mobile data security requirements.
The key features of this solution are providing secured email across multiple device platforms. It also segregates personal and official email, data, applications and other documents in separate containers and allows any enterprise to launch its own corporate app store. DME offers mobile handheld bundled with mobile application with 2G/3G. It also works as a Remote Device Manager of users, devices and applications of mobile fleet of any Enterprise.
Airtel DME ensures seamless implementation of the Enterprise BYOD concept without compromising on corporate data security. Airtel DME allows employees to segregate official and personal data on the same device by containerizing the information such as emails, data applications, documents, etc. The solution empowers IT administrators to remotely manage and control the device basis individual company policy. In case of loss of the mobile device, the corporate container can be remotely locked and data can be wiped off, thereby protecting sensitive corporate information.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
