CES 2013: Panasonic presents Smart Eco-Friendly Solutions

The CES 2013, which is one of the world’s largest consumer electronics shows, is currently being held from January 8th to January 11th, 2013 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. Panasonic is showcasing its latest technologies and solutions at the 2013 International CES. Under the theme of "Eco & Smart Solutions", the Panasonic booth (Central Hall # 9405 & 9806) features a wide variety of the company's products and solutions, from B2C products such as digital AV equipment and home appliances to B2B solutions designed for automobiles, airplanes, retail facilities, and communities. The show saw some innovative product expansions and launches made by Panasonic.
Panasonic President Kazuhiro Tsuga kicked off the 2013 edition of the International CES, by delivering the opening keynote speech. In setting the tone for the exhibition and the industry this year, Tsuga highlighted in his speech Panasonic’s commitment as an eco-engineering company to offering innovative, eco and smart solutions that are the products of the efforts of its employees around the world to make a better world as well as creating real value for its customers.......See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
