Huawei Powers Sri Lanka's First LTE Network 
Huawei has announced a partnership with Dialog's fixed broadband service arm Dialog Broadband Networks (DBN) to launch an LTE TDD network in Sri Lanka, the first of its kind in South Asia. The first of the network’s two phases was completed on December 31, currently providing coverage in the capital Colombo, with an extension across wider Sri Lanka expected soon.
In deploying its fourth-generation network, DBN chose Huawei’s end-to-end solutions for RAN and EPC bundled with Huawei application software and customer-provided equipment (CPE). Dialog is a pioneer in South Asia, providing an exceptional  mobile broadband experience to its end users implementing the latest network technologies. 
In the latest partnership agreement, Huawei and Dialog plan to implement and deliver outstanding wireless broadband services, satisfying Sri Lanka’s fast growing broadband requirements. Dialog’s LTE TDD network is set to provide the world’s first commercial VoIP service, adopting a VPN solution to provide comprehensive wireless access network services for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) and home connections......See More
