Capgemini crosses €10 billion revenues milestone

Capgemini has announced its performance report 2012 in Paris by the Board of Directors of Cap Gemini Paul Hermelin.
Despite a slow market, 2012 saw the Group cross the €10 billion revenues milestone (€10,264 million) which is up by 5.9 % according to the report.
Bookings during the year totaled €10,084 million with book-to-bill ratio of 1.07 and was 1.16 for the fourth quarter for Technology Services, Local Professional Services (Sogeti) and Consulting Services together, confirming the dynamism of these activities.
The operating margin rate is €787 million which is 7.7% of 2012 consolidated revenues, representing an increase of 0.3 points. Profit for the year attributable to shareholders is €370 million after an income tax expense which increased by 40.0% (€140 million).Net cash and cash equivalents total €872 million up €418 million year-on-year. Cumulated organic free cash flow for the period 2012-2013 is anticipated to be between €750 and 800 millions.
