Dell Goes Private 
As demand for personal computers is showing signs of slump, the world’s third-largest PC maker Dell has agreed to be taken private for $24.4 billion.
World’s largest software maker Microsoft Corp has agreed to provide $2 billion to Michael Dell and private equity firm Silver Lake to help finance their move to take PC maker Dell Inc private. Microsoft has said that this has been done as part of the company’s support for maintaining a healthy PC ecosystem.
