Uninor announces Management Changes in India 
Uninor has announced the appointment of Rajeev Sethi as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Uninor. Prior to this, he was the Circle Business Head of Uninor operations in the UP East circle. 
As the new CMO, Rajeev will be responsible for marketing, new product development, customer lifecycle management, sales and distribution for Uninor’s operations pan-India. With this, Rajeev Sethi will now move to the Uninor Corporate Office and the company will announce the new Circle Business Head for UP East shortly.
Sigve Brekke, Managing Director, Uninor, stated, “I am delighted to see Rajeev take up this position at Uninor. We are impressed with the results we have seen from the UP East circle and I’m sure Rajeev will bring many of these winning strategies to the benefit of Uninor’s marketing operations.”

I am excited to take up this position at a time when Uninor has established itself as a strong competitor in each of its circles through a simple and focussed offering, direct communication and a strong mass market distribution. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
