HP offers Context to stop Security Breach 
HP(NYSE:HPQ) has made announcement of new offerings which will enable organizations to use unique contextual understanding to gain actionable security intelligence from Big Data to better detect and prevent threats.
Through these offerings, organizations can automatically apply sentiment analysis and event information to their Big Data and security event platforms to gain real-time visibility into the internal and external threat landscape.
The new solution will broaden the reach of an organization’s security monitoring capabilities by bringing meaning to raw security data. 
The new HP ArcSight Cloud Connector Framework allows organizations to easily collect application event and log data from cloud service providers. The HP ArcSight Cloud Connector Framework is based on industry-standard protocols, providing a single, real-time view into user activity and threat monitoring for on-premises and cloud applications.
The new HP ArcSight/Hadoop Integration Utility is a plug-in ready platform that seamlessly integrates HP ArcSight 6.0c with Apache Hadoop. Together, the technologies speed the process of digging through Big Data stores to provide a more complete view into events and to more quickly identify security attack trends.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
