Stellar Presents Upgraded JPEG Repair Software 
Stellar Data recovery has announced the release of ‘Stellar Phoenix JPEG Repair’ version 2. This is an upgraded version of the tool that was launched earlier to repair damaged JPEG/JPG image files which are rendered unusable and inaccessible due to file corruption. The upgraded version has a scanning & recovery engine that is up to 30% faster than the previous version. This new version is also capable of extracting thumbnails from completely unusable or corrupt JPEG files. The file repair process is completely automated now and is able to provide a distinction between thumbnails and repaired images.  
Sunil Chandna, CEO Stellar Data Recovery said, “JPEG is the most commonly used file format to save images from digital cameras, mobile phones etc, as it successfully compresses heavy images. There are various scenarios that can corrupt your JPEG files like virus infection, or during erratic file transfer etc. ‘Stellar Phoenix JPEG Repair v2’ is an advanced tool which repairs JPEGs flawlessly& easily”.
The free version is capable of repairing JPEG files with a preview. The full version available at a price of $39 allows users to save repaired files. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
