Toshiba launches latest range of 73.6 cm LED TVs in India 
Reinforcing its commitment to India region, Toshiba has strengthened its LED TV portfolio with the launch of its new range of 73.6 cm (29) LED TVs in India. The new range offers the 73.6 cm (29) size from Toshiba’s two highly popular LED TV series in India – PB200 and PU200 LED TV series. The 29PB200 and 29PU200 models will be available across India at an introductory price of Rs.22,990/- and Rs.23,990/-, respectively.

The new series amalgamate the key product attributes that are not only highly advanced than a CRT TV, but which consumers think about, to make an informed purchase decision – quality, performance, style, sound & power saving.
Both 29PU200 and 29PB200 boast of advanced features such as “Auto Signal Booster” to improve signal sensitivity and viewing in areas with weak signal strengths. The “AutoView” feature monitors room brightness and adjusts the backlight and various picture parameters accordingly, thereby reducing the running costs by lowering power consumption. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
