Mozilla skips India for its Smartphone OS Launch in 2013

Indians, who were eagerly waiting for Mozilla's new mobile operating system’s launch, must feel disappointed as its launch has been postponed for India. According to the latest update, Mozilla will give India a skip in 2013.
If reports are to be believed, the maker of Firefox, Mozilla, has tied up with 18 mobile phone operators globally for launching its operating system for mobile devices. It is important to note here that Mozilla missed out India, which is a home of over 850 million mobile phone users.
Regarding its India launch, a spokesperson of Mozilla said, "We are targeting the emerging markets for the first versions. We know that the biggest opportunity in mobile is in this segment and we want to offer a Firefox quality, entry-level smartphone experience in this part of the world.
