Citrix debuts Apps to enhance Business Productivity on-the-move 
At Citrix Synergy, the company has announced Worx Mobile Apps built for business. Citrix Worx mobile apps are enterprise-ready mobile apps with security, policy and provisioning controlled by Citrix XenMobile. Worx mobile apps, offered with Citrix XenMobile, include WorxMail for secure e-mail, calendar and contacts, WorxWeb for secure web browsing and Citrix ShareFile for secure document sharing, sync and editing.

Citrix(NASDAQ:CTXS) also announced a new Worx App SDK for developers and a new Worx App Gallery for IT. More than 80 Worx-enabled third-party apps will be showcased in the Worx App Gallery. In addition, Adobe, Antenna, Appcelerator, Box, Catch, Concur, Expensify, HP, Good Reader and Xora have signalled their intent to work with Citrix.

Citrix has developed a simple and powerful Worx App SDK that enables third parties and enterprise developers to Worx enable their mobile apps. The SDK leverages Citrix MDX app container technology to add features like data encryption, password authentication, secure lock and wipe, inter-app policies and micro VPNs to any mobile app. A single line of code instantly embeds enterprise capabilities into any mobile app......See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
