Kaspersky unveils Free Security Solution for Android Tablets 
A new version of security solution named as Kaspersky Tablet Security for Android tablets has been launched by Kaspersky Lab. As per the lab reports, the updated product can scan the mobile system much faster than the previous version, while the new Alarm tool will help users find lost tablets.

The key highlights of this tablet security solution include Antivirus protection against malware using cutting-edge technologies developed by Kaspersky Lab, including proactive and cloud based technologies which help to detect new and unknown threats in real time. It will also provide Web protection to the mobile internet users against malicious and phishing links. The anti-theft protection and Web management feature of this security solution will detect the whereabouts of a missing device based on data from the device's GPS module.

Jagannath Patnaik, Director - Channel Sales, Kaspersky Lab, South Asia, said, "Android-based tablets have gained popularity in India due to the government encouragement and making them available at low cost in the rural areas. Apart from that most of the enterprise in India opting for tablets for their mobile staff due to the ease of use and low cost.
