MSatyam and Dion come closer to offer software solution 
Mahindra Satyam and Dion Global Solutions (Dion) have jointly announced to offer a software solution "FATCA TRAC" to assist financial institutions (FIs) in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) in order to meet the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) regulations.

Dion's FATCA TRAC, developed in partnership with Mahindra Satyam, has been designed to allow for customization and future proofing in order to meet a range of business, country and integration requirements and will enable financial institutions to swap from complying with the US FATCA regulations under an IGA without impacting their compliance programme.

Rohit Gandhi, Senior Vice-President, Asia-Pac, India & MEA, Mahindra Satyam, said, "The jointly developed FATCA TRAC product enables us to combine the product development expertise of Dion with Mahindra Satyam’s ability to deliver solutions to business problems. The FATCA TRAC product will enable financial institutions to be FATCA compliant in an effective and efficient manner."

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
