Nokia enhances Its Product Offerings for Mother's Day 
To stay connected with mothers on Mother’s Day, Nokia has introduced various colourful and exciting gadgets. These products include Nokia Asha smartphones, headsets, portable USB charger DC-16 and the Nokia Lumia series. All of them are available in vibrant colours.

 The smartphone series include Nokia Asha 205 and 311. Asha 205 priced at Rs.3,499 features new innovative Facebook key, QWERTY Keyboard, Nokia Xpress Browser with 85% data compression, 40 free games and also has a slam feature which can transfer data by slamming the two devices. This phone also provides free Facebook for 3 months for Idea Cellular consumers, whereas Nokia Asha 311 has a compact touchscreen feature with 1GHz processor. It enables over 45 lakh songs download. It features 40 games, Nokia map and Nokia Browser. It is priced at Rs.7,139 with the availability of Rose Red, Dark Grey and Sand White colours in the market.

Lumia series includes availability of Nokia 720, 520 and 920 for Mother's Day. Lumia 720 is priced at Rs.18,999 and 520 at Rs.10,500. Windows 8-enabled Lumia 720 features include high-end camera and a multitude of navigation options. Embedded with five-mega pixel autofocus camera, Lumia 520 comprises of features such as digital camera lenses, Cinema graph and Smart Shoot. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
