SanDisk elevates Rajesh Gupta as country Manager for India 
SanDisk Corporation(NASDAQ:SNDK) has announced the appointment of Rajesh Gupta as the new Country Manager for SanDisk India with immediate effect.
Previously, Gupta was the director of sales for SanDisk in India where he was a key part of the robust organization that made SanDisk one of the leading flash memory brands in India. Prior to his time at SanDisk, he worked for Intel Corporation for 15 years, last serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Intel Technology India.
“Rajesh has more than two decades of proven sales and marketing success in the IT industry. We are pleased to appoint him as the new country manager of India to continue SanDisk’s growth in the region,” said Gavin Wu, Vice President, Asia Pacific, SanDisk.
Rajesh Gupta said, “I am glad to accept my new position to continue to drive further SanDisk achievements in India. The market for NAND flash in India is poised for growth and I see a significant potential to expand our presence. I look forward to enabling SanDisk’s success in these new innings.”
Gupta will focus on continuing to strengthen the company’s presence in the country and is tasked with taking its growth to the next level. He will oversee the retail sales and marketing of memory cards.......See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
