WD and SanDisk collaborate to create SSH Drives 
WD(NASDAQ:WDC) and SanDisk Corporation(NASDAQ:SNDK) have announced that the two companies are collaborating to introduce hybrid storage devices that feature flash memory technology from SanDisk and hard drive technology from WD.

SanDisk is supplying its iSSD storage devices for the WD Black solid-state hybrid drive (SSHD), the 2.5-inch SSHD solution, which utilizes both WD proprietary hybrid technology and industry standard SATA IO technology.

By combining SanDisk's unparalleled flash memory expertise and technology with the hard drive know-how of WD, WD Black SSHDs offer outstanding hard drive-like capacity, and the slim form-factor and the level of performance that you will only get with flash memory solutions," said Kevin Conley, Senior Vice-President & General Manager of Client Storage Solutions, SanDisk.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
