HP introduces End-to-End Programme for Channel Partners, SMBs 
To increase storage investments and generate new offerings for small and midsize businesses (SMBs) and government agencies, HP(NYSE:HPQ) has announced new enhancements to its StoreEasy Storage portfolio and a new programme for HP channel partners.
These new solutions are available under HP’s new Simply StoreIT programme. This programme offers training, marketing and incentives for HP channel partners to quickly address their small and midsized customers’ challenges and pursue new revenue opportunities.
Barun Lala, Director – Storage, HP India, said, “Virtualization and other emerging workloads threaten to drown SMBs in a sea of complexities that hinder, rather than support, growth. Simply StoreIT allows our partners to serve their small and midsized customers who are stressed for time, budget and resources to support a growing business, with a stress-free storage solution.”
Limited IT resources and a lack of storage expertise can make it difficult for SMBs to deploy the storage systems needed to support applications that require high availability and performance.
The key features of the storage system include simplifying management, improving  performance up to four times faster than similarly priced external disk storage solutions and enable SMBs to efficiently manage and protect increasing amounts of file data without the need for special skills.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
