Tata to sponsor "Future of Collaboration" Hackathon

To innovate next-generation “open-standard” collaboration tools, a two-day hackathon event named “Future of Collaboration” will be organized linking together the best minds of the Silicon Valley and Bangalore. The event will be sponsored by Tata Communications. During the hack fest, over 200 developers in both locations will work together, across borders, to rapidly develop, prototype and innovate applications using new web standards to address everyday collaboration challenges.
These will be built over new open API (application programming interface), including Internet-based technologies such as WebRTC. This platform will take communications and collaboration to the next level.
