Huawei inaugurates a New Club for Indian Techies 
Huawei has launched the Huawei Club, a unique platform for engaging with Huawei's fans and technology enthusiasts across the country. Inaugurated by Wilson Wang, Chief Operating Officer, Huawei Technologies India, in Bangalore, the Huawei Club is a channel for Huawei to listen to the consumers’ voice, present the latest information on products and services, and provide rich online content and face to face interaction with Huawei's R&D engineers.

To begin with, the Huawei Club will focus on promoting its new User Interface - the Emotion UI, which is the standard UI in most of the Huawei smartphones launched recently. Emotion UI is a Huawei-developed Android-based man-machine interaction system for smart terminals. With Emotion UI, everything is easy to find, easy to enjoy, and easy to share. Huawei smartphone and tablet owners can enjoy vivid display, have fun customizing the device, customize home screens with applications and have easy switching between themes.

Wilson Wang, COO, Huawei's India R&D Center, said "The Huawei Club is a global consumer-centric initiative to strongly connect with our user communities across the globe, to drive new features and meet new experience requirements and working with them in making things possible together. We are really excited to launch Huawei Club in India, starting with Bangalore and we believe that only by close collaboration with end-users, we can achieve the most satisfying levels of consumer experience."

The launch of the Huawei Club in Bangalore is the first outside of China, and also the first such initiative by any smartphone maker. The Huawei Club will conduct periodic events for the members across Indian cities in colleges and at tech fairs. Members can benefit from the Huawei Club by experiencing the upcoming and latest Huawei range of smartphones, tablets, interact with technology experts, developers, user interface experts, geeky product managers.
