Samsung expands GALAXY Tab 3 Series in India 
Samsung Electronics has announced introduction of the GALAXY Tab 3 311 (8-inch screen)and GALAXY Tab 3 211 (7-inch screen) in India. Offering an expanded range of options, the GALAXY Tab 3 Series provides consumers with various ways to view, listen, create and share meaningful events and special content with those who matter most. Whether surfing the web at home or reading during the commute, each device is packed with enhanced content and intuitive design perfect for viewing or sharing content with friends and family, and capturing all of life's spontaneous moments.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3-8-inch will be available in two variants. The GALAXY Tab 3 311 has 3G (Voice and Data) capability, while the GALAXY Tab 3 310 is a Wi-Fi version only.The price of GALAXY Tab 3 211 (7"), Tab 3 311 (8") and Tab 3 310 (8" WiFi only) are Rs.17,745, Rs.25,725 and Rs.21,945, respectively......See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
