Tata Indicom offers Unlimited Calling Plan for Delhi Subscribers 
To enable unlimited calling and unlimited free roaming to its new subscribers in Delhi,Tata Indicom has launched a postpaid plannamed "Unlimited 1299 Plan" which will allow Tata Indicom customers to make unlimited local and national calls on any mobile/ fixed line network across India along with unlimited roaming benefits and free 3GB data and 3,000 messages.

Ajit Chaturvedi, Hub Head, Tata Indicom - Delhi, said, "The move comes from a strategic intent of making the brand relevant for the high-value customers. Tata Indicom, in continuation of offering value-for-money offers and distinct approach, has liberated the consumer from the conditions that used to limit an unlimited plan."

He further added, "With this unlimited plan, subscribers enjoy benefits of unlimited calls unencumbered by free minutes or seconds as they are by the competition. The benefits are accentuated further with free roaming combinedwith 3,000 messages and 3GB data. With a rental of Rs.1,299/-, this is the best, economical and most effective mobility plan available in the market."

After crossing a usage of 3GB, the data will be charged at Rs 0.30/mb. Once the user exhausts their limit of 3,000 messages, charges of Re1 for local, Rs.1.50 for National and Rs.5.00 for International message.....See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
