TCS to develop software for Australian Pharma Companies 
In order top to deliver a major IT and business transformation programme, Tata Consultancy Services (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) has announced that it has been selected by the Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API). Under the Agreement, TCS will deliver SAP technology to unify and enhance mission-critical IT systems across API's retail and wholesale operations.

API has selected TCS as its strategic partner and under the terms of the agreement, TCS will deliver API with a SAP ERP platform that integrates with API's legacy systems providing improvements in mission-critical business operations such as Merchandising, Sales and Customer Service, Logistics and Finance. API will benefit from enhanced customer service capabilities, improved logistics and finance processes, and better operational efficiencies.

Stephen Roche, Chief Executive Officer, API, said, "We are confident that partnering with TCS will achieve our key objectives of enhanced customer capabilities and realizing the associated efficiencies to position API competitively for the future."

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
