Tech Mahindra enters into strategic alliance with BASE 
To create efficient network operations, BASE Company and Tech Mahindra have signed a five- year managed service agreement for the operations and rollout of the BASE network in Belgium. With this agreement, BASE aims to broaden its partnership with Tech Mahindra. Tech Mahindra will be responsible for, amongst others, mobile site upgrades, maintenance, incident handling, site construction and data centre maintenance for multi-vendor 2G/3G and LTE networks.

BASE, a subsidiary of KPN Group, has a leading network position with its 3G dual carrier network supporting speeds of up to 42 Mbps. In addition, BASE has the aim to cover the majority of the country with LTE end-2014. BASE and Tech Mahindra will partner to realize the expansion and improvement of the network and achieve daily operational excellence in its network systems.

As a managed service partner, Tech Mahindra will enable to provide service management and customer experience for both network and IT with its global Network Operations Centre.
