TRENDnet and Abacus to conduct 3-City Road Show 
TRENDnet is all set to kick-start their first set of road shows from September 3, 2013. The 3-city road show will be conducted in Delhi, Secunderabad and Cochin partnering with Abacus Peripherals, national distributor for TRENDnet in India. Dealers, resellers and system integrators in and around the cities are invited.
Atul Jain, Country Manager, TRENDnet India, said, "The idea behind these road shows is to let partners know how they can increase their product offerings to their customers by catering them some niche products and achieve better profitability. TRENDnet has a wide array of Cloud and IP Camera and the market has good awareness about the quality of the products as well. We would want our partners to communicate the same to the customers."
TRENDnet has plans to educate the partners on the wide range of TRENDnet products catering to the needs of Home, SOHO and SMBs. TRENDnet would be displaying its product range from its Wireless Networking, LAN Switches, POE Switches, Internet Camera, KVM Switches, Fibre modules and Converters, USB accessories and Power line categories. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
