GIGABYTE India hosts Power Conclave 2013 
GIGABYTE Technology (India) has organized an interactive meet named Power Conclave 2013 with select PC Enthusiasts / Power Users in Mumbai on September 14, 2013. The GIGABYTE Power Conclave 2013 will primarily focus on the features and technologies of GIGABYTE 8 Series Motherboards, which support Intel 4th generation Core processors.

The meet started with a Skype video interaction with GIGABYTE's Overlocking evangelist, Hi. Cookie. Another highlight of the event, was an Extreme Overclocking session with Indian Overclocker, Harshal Tank to demonstrate his OC skills.

Harshal Tank expressed, Power Users need more such events to interact directly with companies like GIGABYTE  which they earnestly forward to. For me personally, it was great to catch up with Hi.Cookie after many years. The product update provided by Supriya was intuitive, helping you grasp the finer aspects of the technologies behind GIGABYTE motherboards. GIGABYTE Amp-Up Audio demo was also a good experience for Power Users.

At the meet, Sound Expert, Faheem Maldar gave an insightful demo on Amp-Up Audio. Maldar used the latest headphones and speakers to showcase the sound effects possible with GIGABYTE Amp-Up Audio.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
